Petes Earn Fourth Win over Top Ranked 67's

(Peterborough, ON) - Hunter Jones earned first star honours after a 31-save performance, leading the Petes to a 4-1 win over the CHL's top-ranked Ottawa 67's on Saturday night. The Petes are the only team in the OHL to have beaten Ottawa multiple times, handing them 4 of their 8 losses on the season.

In his first game back from injury, Liam Kirk (17) opened scoring for the Petes. Declan Chisholm (11) and Nick Robertson (42) rounded out the first period scoring, with Robertson's marker extending his goal scoring streak to 14 games. After Ottawa got on the board in the third period, Michael Little (6) sealed the win for the Maroon and White.

Semyon Der-Arguchintsev earned two helpers, while Robertson, Jacob Paquette, Zach Gallant, Matt McNamara, and John Parker-Jones each registered one assist.

Final shots were 32-20 in favour of Ottawa. Peterborough went 0/2 on the power play and 3/3 on the penalty kill.

The Petes are back in action at the PMC on Thursday, February 13 to host the Windsor Spitfires at 7:05pm. They'll visit the Owen Sound Attack on Saturday, February 15 at 7:30pm before returning home for a Family Day matinee against the Sudbury Wolves at 2:05pm.
