(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes dropped their fourth consecutive game on Wednesday in St. Catharines, falling 3-0 to the Niagara IceDogs at the Meridian Centre.
Niagara opened scoring 8:57 into the game. They added a power play marker midway through the third period before adding an empty netter with 12.6 seconds remaining.
Hunter Jones, who was recently named to Team OHL for the upcoming CIBC Canada Russia Series along with Winnipeg Jets prospect Declan Chisholm, stopped 41 of 43 shots in the loss.
The Petes are back in action on Thursday, October 25 when they host 2018 first overall pick Quinton Byfield, former Pete Cory Stillman, and the Sudbury Wolves at 7:05pm. Tickets are available at the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office in-person, online, or over the phone at (705) 743-3561.
