Petes Auction Historic Game Worn Jerseys Online

(Peterborough, ON, January 29th, 2014)- The Peterborough Petes are excited to announce a new opportunity for fans and collectors to own pieces of Petes history. The CHL Auction web-site will be used over the next several months to auction game worn jerseys that saw game action prior to the 2012-2013 season.

The first auction will take place starting on Wednesday, January 29th and will close on Wednesday, February 5th at 11:59pm. The first four jerseys to be auctioned include the following:

. Lukas Krajicek, '02-'03 white #37 Petes jersey featuring assistant captain's 'A' patch, Nike patch, and special "Petes Character" shoulder patches. Krajicek played 168 games on defence for the Petes, registering 130 points. He was drafted 24th overall by the Florida Panthers in 2001, playing 328 career NHL games with the Panthers, Canucks, Lightning, and Flyers. He will represent the Czech Republic at the Sochi 2014 Olympics.

. Chris Buonomo, white #21 Petes 50th anniversary spinoff jersey with gold, black and maroon details, maple leaf Petes logo, special edition Liftlock shoulder patches, OHL and Reebok patches, and collar laces. Buonomo played 241 OHL games between Peterborough, Barrie, and Sault Ste. Marie.

. Mike Morrison, '11-'12 red #33 Peterborough TPT Petes throwback jersey. Morrison played 143 OHL games in goal, with a record of 57-54-13 and 4 shut-outs.

. Darryl Flowers, '04-'05 #3 maroon "Petes Character" special edition third jersey featuring OHL and Reebok patches, maroon, gold, and black details. Flowers played 49 OHL games amassing 137 penalty minutes.
