Peterborough Petes News Release

(Peterborough, ON) - Peterborough Petes General Manager Mike Oke announced Tuesday that defenceman Josh Kavanagh, forward Cole Patey, and goaltender Michael Simpson have been re-assigned to the Peterborough Major Midget AAA Petes.

The players will remain involved in the team's daily programs including on-ice practices and skill development as well as off-ice workouts.

"We were very impressed with each player's performance through training camp and pre-season games," commented Oke. "We're very excited about the partnership we've built with the Major Midgets. By having them play with that team, we'll be able to keep a close eye on their development and they'll be available to play for us over the course of the season should the need arise."

The Petes kick off the 2019-20 regular season on Friday, September 20 at 7:30pm when they visit the London Knights. They'll face the Windsor Spitfires on Saturday, September 21 at 7:05pm.

Single game tickets for all regular season games, including the 2019 Home Opener when the Petes host the Hamilton Bulldogs on Thursday, October 17 at 7:05pm, are now on sale at the PMC Grant Thornton Box office in person, by phone at (705) 743-3561, or online.
