67's Acquire Pair of Draft Picks from Kingston for Lucas Peric

OTTAWA - The Ottawa 67's have acquired a pair of draft picks in a deal that sends defenceman Lucas Peric to the Kingston Frontenacs, the club announced Wednesday.
In exchange for the 18-year-old blueliner, Ottawa receives Kingston's fourth-round pick in 2023 and third-round pick in 2024.
Peric is entering his third OHL season, having suited up for 90 regular season games and 16 playoff games for the Barber Poles, collecting 23 points.
"Lucas has been a valued teammate in Ottawa and we wish him all the best in his future hockey endeavors," said 67's General Manager James Boyd.

The 67's open their regular season schedule on Friday night in Guelph. Ottawa's home opener goes a week from Sunday on September 29 as the 67's host the Peterborough Petes at The Arena at TD Place (2 p.m).
