Petes Acquire Adam McPhail from Saginaw

(Peterborough, ON)- Peterborough Petes General Manager Michael Oke announced today that Adam McPhail has been acquired in a trade from the Saginaw Spirit. In return, the Spirit will receive Peterborough's ninth round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.

McPhail, a 6'1", 195lbs native of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, played 50 games with the Spirit in 2014/15, registering two goals, four assists, six points and 32 penalty minutes. He also suited up in one playoff game. He was added to the Petes training camp roster on September 2.

"Adam is a hard working player that has an opportunity to add depth and experience to our roster this season," noted Oke.
