
Spirit Send McPhail to Peterborough for Draft Pick

SAGINAW, MICH - The Saginaw Spirit announced Tuesday the trade of forward Adam McPhail to the Peterborough Petes in exchange for a ninth round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection Draft.
The Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario native had six points in 50 games with the Spirit in his rookie season.
"We want to thank Adam for everything he has done for the Saginaw Spirit," said Spirit GM Dave Drinkill. "He was a great ambassador for the city and the team. We wish Adam and his family the best of luck in Peterborough and hope he enjoys a successful career with the Petes."
The Spirit have 20 picks in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection draft, including one conditional pick.
