Peter Holland Grand & Toy Player Of The Week

(GUELPH) The Guelph Storm announced today that forward Peter Holland is the Grand & Toy Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 22nd. 

 

Holland recorded four points, one goal and three assists, and was a plus three in three games this past weekend. The 17 year old started off the week with his best game Friday night against the Owen Sound Attack. Scoring the Storm's fourth goal of the game and assisting on the third and sixth, the Caledon native helped lift his team over the Attack by a score of 6-0. On Saturday night in Saginaw, Holland assisted on the Storm's first of the night in their 4-3 overtime loss, before being held off the scoresheet in a 3-1 loss in Sault Ste. Marie.

With 56 points in 59 games, Holland sits second on the Storm in total points, goals (24), assists (32) and powerplay goals (10).    

Next up, Holland and the rest of the Storm play at home three time this week. First, they host the London Knights this coming Wednesday before the Ottawa 67's and Kitchener Rangers visit the Sleeman Centre on Friday and Sunday respectively.
