St. Paul Saints News Release
ST. PAUL, MN - It's time to skip out on work because the St. Paul Saints season is winding down. With just 11 home games left it's a week to salute the troops, our fans, and our four-legged friends. We'll take you in the way back machine and reach across the river for a moment between two special mascots. It's all happening during the penultimate homestand from September 7-12 homestand.
Tuesday, September 7 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers (Kansas City Royals), 7:05 p.m. - Military Appreciation Night
The women and men that put on a military uniform do so in order to protect us from foreign and domestic enemies. While serving they make sacrifices to put country first. It's just one of the many reasons why the Saints continue to honor our service members during Military Appreciation Night. Let the red, white, and blue fly high on this day and make sure you thank the many men and women that don the uniform on this night. Enjoy the game on a Sun Country Travel Tuesday.
Wednesday, September 8 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 1:05 p.m. - Play Hooky With the Saints
"Life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around once in a while you could miss it." Ferris Bueller had the right idea. Grab the Ferrari, tell the boss you're not feeling well and head out to a Saints game during this afternoon matinee. Sure, our games are televised, but what are the odds your boss is watching? As summer comes to an end, you've earned the right to skip out on work for an afternoon. Grab your favorite friend and make it an afternoon of fun, sun, and baseball. You can cross CHS Field off your list during our Explore Minnesota Wednesday.
Thursday, September 9 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 7:05 p.m. - Better Together Mudonna/TC Shaking Hands Bobblehead (First 1,500 fans)
Two of the most iconic mascots in all of sports come together in one unique bobblehead. The St. Paul Saints loveable Mudonna and the Minnesota Twins huggable TC Bear remake the Minny and Paul handshake across the river. The two mascots have been friends for nearly two decades, but this year the bond grew even stronger. These two are all about fun, family, and bringing smiles to the faces of kids of all ages. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive this extremely unique bobblehead of the two emblematic mascots.
Friday, September 10 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 7:05 p.m. - Celebrating 2001 presented by Hamline University with Friday Night Fireworks Powered by Xcel Energy To The Music of 2001
A gallon of gas was $1.46 and a postage stamp was a mere 34 cents. We're going to take you back 20 years and celebrate 2001 presented by Hamline University as we kick off the weekend with our Friday Night Fireworks powered by Xcel Energy to the tunes of 2001. Sully and Mike Wazowski didn't scare us in 2001, but Anthony Hopkins most certainly did when he "ate a liver with some fava beans, and a nice chianti." We paid nearly $400 so we could carry our tunes around on something called an iPod. The Diamondbacks took down the Yankees in the World Series while Duke cut down the nets and the Black Mamba led the Lakers to another title. We'll be Hanging by A Moment because tonight is All For You.
Saturday, September 11 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 6:05 p.m. - Fan Appreciation Night presented by Minnesota Corn Growers with Post-Game Monster Food Truck Rally and Super Fireworks Show
Today is much more than a baseball game. It is the day we honor, remember, and pay tribute to those we lost on this day 20 years ago. As we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks a special pre-game ceremony will take place that will include a parachute team landing on the field with the American flag. Following the pre-game ceremony, we thank the best fans in all of baseball. The Saints have been one of the best drawing teams in all of Minor League Baseball since CHS Field opened in 2015. Tonight, we thank every one of you for making us a successful organization. Whether this is your first game of the season, or you've showed up to every game, this is our way to give back. Games, prizes, and fun are all a part of this Fan Appreciation Night presented by Minnesota Corn Growers. When the game is over the fun doesn't end. Stick around for our Post-Game food truck rally. Food trucks scheduled to appear are: Anchor Fish & Chips, Chili Lime, Dine 1-1, KMG Egg Roll, Pretty Great Cheesecake, Rollin' Nolen's BBQ, Smokin Bonez, and Sumo Egg Rolls. Indulge yourself with delectable items from various food trucks around the Twin Cities. After you've satiated your palate, sit back and enjoy the Super Fireworks Show. Enjoy it all on a Treasure Island Saturday.
Sunday, September 12 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 2:05 p.m. - Dog Day II presented by Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies
Ok all you dog lovers. You've been asking for a day to bring your dog out to the ballpark and now we're giving you a second day as we finish this homestand in style. This day is for you and your four-legged pals. Your little fur babies are welcome into CHS Field on our Dog Day presented by Chuck & Don's Pet Food & Supplies. Instead of the kids going after foul balls, it will be the dogs chasing after a new toy. The barking you hear today won't come from the managers arguing with the umpires yet will emanate from the stands. We'll have contests all game long: which dog looks most like its owner, best dressed dog, and favorite dog tricks. Following the game, you'll need to leave the dogs in the stands, but kids can run the bases on this Cub Family Sunday.
Saints tickets continue to be a tremendous value. Tickets begin at $5 for the Treasure Island berm seating, $6 for bleacher seats, $15 for outfield reserved, $18 for the drink rail, infield reserved and home plate reserved. Friday home games with Post-Game Fireworks are an additional $2 per ticket. Post-Game Fireworks Supershows (September 11) are an additional $3 per ticket. Tickets purchased on the day of the game are an additional $2 per ticket. Children under the age of 12 and seniors 65 and older receive $1 off the admission price. Children under 2 that don't require a seat are free.
Saints Box Office hours on non-game days are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. On game days, the Box Office will open at 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday and will remain open until 15 minutes following each game. Tickets are always available at saintsbaseball.com.
