November 17, 2015 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins News Release
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are once again teaming up with Rocky and Lissa from 98.5 KRZ to help make Thanksgiving a little better for those in need with the THANKS 4 GIVING ticket deal.
Rocky, Lissa and their kitchen crew will be prepping Thanksgiving dinner at the St. Vincent De Paul soup kitchen in downtown Wilkes-Barre next week, helping to feed hundreds of families and individuals in need for the holiday.
But the facility feeds the less fortunate year round, and that's where YOU can help.
Purchase a ticket to our home game on Saturday, November 28 at 7:05pm against the Hershey Bears, and we'll throw in a hot dog, a bag of chips, a soda and a Penguins hat. Plus, $4 from each ticket purchased through this deal will go back to the St. Vincent De Paul soup kitchen.
Come on out, enjoy a night of exciting Penguins hockey action, and help those in need.
Tickets for the THANKS 4 GIVING deal are $24.25 in the Red Zone (actual value $47.50), $22.25 in the Gold Zone (actual value $44.50) and $19.25 in the Blue Zone (actual value $38.50). This package is available only through the Penguins ticket office located in the Toyota SportsPlex (40 Coal Street), by phone at 570-208-7367, or online at http://bit.ly/WBSThanks4Giving.
(Orders must be placed before noon on Wednesday, November 25 to receive the food options in this package. Orders placed after that time will receive only a ticket and Penguins hat)
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton season ticket packages, including Full Season, 22-game, 12-game and Flexbook plans, are available by contacting the Penguins directly at (570) 208-7367.
