
Condors Sign C Josh Currie to PTO

CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that the team has signed C Josh Currie to a Professional Try-Out Contract (PTO). A PTO is valid for up to 25 games.
CURRIE - stats (23 years old, 5-11, 187 lbs. Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island)
Led the ECHL's Norfolk Admirals in scoring with 12 points (6g-6a) in 13 games
Paced the 2013-14 ECHL Bakersfield Condors with 28 assists and was second on the team in scoring with 42 points in 71 games
Had 31 points (15g-16a) as a rookie in 2012-13 with the Gwinnett Gladiators (ECHL) under AHL contract with the Phoenix Coyotes
Third in scoring in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) with Prince Edward Island in 2012-13 amassing 104 points (49g-55a) in 68 games
CONDORS HOST FIELD TRIP DAY GAME, NOV. 18
The Condors are back at home Wednesday, Nov. 18 with the 12th annual Field Trip Day and Businessperson's Special, with a 10:30 a.m. puck drop against the San Jose Barracuda. School kids from all over Kern County will invade Rabobank Arena, and the grown ups can enjoy $10 tickets anywhere in the building. The game is sponsored by HOT 94.1 and Kern Schools Federal Credit Union.
