
Penguins' regular season ticket on sale Thursday

WILKES-BARRE, PA - Individual tickets for all Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins' regular season home games will go on sale on Thursday, September 22 at 10:00 a.m.
The Penguins open their seventh season, and the American Hockey League's 70th overall, on Wednesday, Oct. 5 at home against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The team's 40-game home slate consists of 40 games overall, with 31 of those taking place on weekends (11 Fridays, 18 Saturdays, two Sundays). The Penguins will face East Division rivals from Bridgeport, Hershey, Norfolk and Philadelphia five times each on home ice, while squaring off with the Binghamton Senators four times at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza.
Other highlights of the Penguins' home schedule include first ever visit from the Toronto Marlies on March 3, and a rare meeting with the Rochester Americans on February 4. The Pens will also host the Norfolk Admirals on New Year's Eve with a special 6:05pm start, and the Providence Bruins on the night before Thanksgiving (Nov. 23).
Individual ticket prices are $30.75 (Yellow Zone - Sections 101, 120-126), $20.75 (Red Zone - Sections 102-119), $18.75 (Gold Zone - Sections 203-218) and $14.50 (Blue Zone - Sections 201-202, 219-227).
Tickets will be available at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza box office, all local TicketMaster locations, via phone at (570) 693-4100 and on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Regular box office hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
