ERIE, PAÃÂ - The New Orleans Pelicans announced today they have transferredÃÂ ZylanÃÂ Cheatham from the Erie BayHawks.
Cheatham (6-8, 220) has started in all three games for the BayHawks this season, averaging 14.3 points, 16.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.3 steals in 33.0 minutes. The Phoenix, Ariz. native is currently the only player in the G League averaging at least 14.0 points, 16.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
Cheatham signed his two-way contract with New Orleans on July 24.
