Pelicans Return on Tuesday for 7 Games, Beach Towels, Fireworks

When the Pelican return to town on Tuesday, July 6, not only will it be the first of a seven-game home stand, it will also mark the beginning of the second half. The Pelicans will revert back to 0-0 as the Pels push to defend their 2009 South Division Championship title. Pensacola will face the Shreveport-Bossier Captains for three games and the El Paso Diablos for four from July 6-12. Each day brings a different exciting promotion for fans to take part in and enjoy.

On Tuesday, the Pelicans are offering a Two-for-Tuesday special. Fans can purchase draft beer at a two for one discount!

For Wednesday the Pelicans are excited to announce that everyone is a winner because of the Win On Wednesday promotion. As fans leave the park at the end of the game they will receive a Pelicans scratch off ticket. Prizes include free food & drink vouchers, merchandise, field of dreams and tickets.

Thirsty Thursday returns with $1 draft beer and Pepsi products are only $1 on July 8 sponsored by Budweiser!

On Friday the Pelicans will host "Beach Night" as the first 1,000 fans get a free beach towel sponsored by Budweiser and WEAR-TV3. The night will consist of beach themed games and music, so break out your Hawaiian shirt, fanny packs & join us for this fun night.

To punctuate the weekend on Saturday, the Pelicans are pleased to host a spectacular post-game fireworks show following the game sponsored by Pepsi and Cox. Fans can also enjoy the Pensacola Shriner cars and clowns!

Sunday brings another Covenant Hospice Kid Club Day. All kids in the Pelican's Kids Club will get into the game for free. The Kids Club members are reminded to wear their T-shirt as it is their ticket into the game. Membership is only $10 and kids can sign up at the park before the game.

Monday, July 12 is Mutt Monday - all dogs are welcome at Pelican Park.
