
Pelicans prove they're top Bird with dramatic win over Canaries

Pensacola used its last three offensive opportunities to come from a 5-0 deficit to pull out a 7-6 victory. Nearly all of the 1,323 fans were still on hand to cheer the Pelicans and Tony Pierce on in the 9th inning to secure the victory. The series is now tied at one game a piece with game three on Thursday at 6:35. Florida State Governor Candidate Tom Gallagher got the evening started, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
