Pelicans Offer Half-Price Tickets for School Supply Donations

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - For the second year in a row, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans are partnering with WMBF News to offer fans half-price tickets to the club's game on Friday, August 17 when they donate school supplies. The night, dubbed as 'Pack the Bus Night,' is a collaboration with the news station's annual School Tools Drive.

Each school supply item fans bring to the Pelicans Box Office for donation prior to the game results in a half-price ticket to the contest against the Buies Creek Astros. All donations will benefit the Boys & Girls Club.

Friday's game also features an Augtoberfest beer tasting event courtesy of Samuel Adams and Better Brands (Information here: https://www.milb.com/myrtle-beach/news/pelicans-host-augtoberfest-beer-tasting-event-on-august-17/c-289501536). The contest is also a Beer, Brats and Baseball presented by WMBF and Lowes Foods, with $2 craft drafts from 6-8 p.m. and buy-one, get-one-free Lowes Foods sausages all night long. In addition, all first responders receive half-price tickets at the Pelicans' Box Office as part of a First Responder Friday presented by 707 Indoor Shooting Range and Goldfinch Winslow Attorneys and Counselors at Law.
