The Poop from Scoop...

Pensacola Pelicans featured in "Baseball America"

"Baseball America," a widely distributed baseball publication, featured a story highlighting the Pensacola Pelicans success this season. They conducted interviews with Pelican Manager Bernie Carbo and Pitching Coach James Gamble. The article also noted the outstanding performances of Pelicans such as Josey Shannon, Larry Bethea, and George Branch. Also mentioned were pitchers Phil Devey and Josh Kranawetter, who were picked up by the Seattle Mariners and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, respectively. The article also shows Bernie Carbo's appreciation for this Pelicans squad. Bernie is quoted as saying "this is the best team I've ever managed."
