Coastal Bend Aviators News Release
ROBSTOWN, TX â Wednesday's scheduled game at Fairgrounds Field between the Coastal Bend Aviators and Jackson Senators has been cancelled due to rain.
Since it was the series finale and the Senators are not scheduled to return to Robstown again this season, the game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Monday, August 2nd at Smith-Wills Stadium in Jackson, Mississippi.
Fans holding tickets for the June 30th Aviators-Senators game can exchange them for full value to any future 2004 regular season home game. Tickets must be exchanged in advance at the Aviators box office located at Fairgrounds Field.
The Aviators take Thursday off before returning to action Friday for the start of a seven-game road trip through Pensacola and Fort Worth. Coastal Bend will take on the host Pelicans in a day-night doubleheader Friday â the first game begins at 10:00am, with the second contest starting at 7:05pm. You can hear all the action with Rory Miller calling the play-by-play on Jalapeno Oldies 1150-AM KCCT.
