Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
The Shreveport Sports â San Angelo game at Fair Grounds Field Wednesday night was rained out. The heavy rains hit the Shreveport area around 6:30 and thirty minutes later the game was called.
This is the third rain out this season and the second within the past week for the Sports.
The Sports and San Angelo will now play a doubleheader Thursday starting at 5:05pm. The Independence Day Fireworks will be held following the doubleheader.
Chad Yates and Jason Slanina will pitch for Shreveport and Mark Persails and Chris Flanagan will be the starters for San Angelo in the doubleheader.
