HR: AMA – Benny Craig (12) Amarillo outfielder, Benny Craig, blasted a two-run homer, his twelfth homerun of the season, to put the Dillas ahead of the Cats in game one of their doubleheader. Cristy Rosa won his fourth game of the season and Landon Stockman picked up his first save for Amarillo.

FORT WORTH 9, AMARILLO 1 - Game 2

@ Amarillo, Texas Time: 2:03 ATT: 1,386

W: Allen Davis (5-3) L: Jason Stockstill (4-6) S: None

HR: FTW – Jim Essian (2) In the second game of their doubleheader tonight, Fort Worth came back with a vengeance to crush Amarillo 9-1. Cats' pitcher, Allen Davis, picked up his fifth win of the season, while outfielder, Jim Essian, launched his second homerun of the season. With the split, both Fort Worth and Amarillo are 1-1 in the second half of their seasons.

PENSACOLA 6, EDINBURG 3, - Game 1

@ Pensacola, Fla. Time: 2:23

W: Gerardo Casadiego (3-2) L: Steven Wilkerson (0-2) S: None

HR: ER – Pat 0'Sullivan (1), PP – Larry Bethea (6) Pelicans' Larry Bethea hit a three-run walk-off shot in the bottom of the seventh to win the game the first game of the doubleheader between Pensacola and Edinburg. Bethea went 3-for-4 in the game and led the team's offense along with centerfielder Rafael Alvarez, who went 2-for-3. Although, he did not get a decision Pelicans' starting pitcher Trey Stephens kept Pensacola in the game until Bethea's dramatic blast. The Roadrunners were paced by DH Pat O'Sullivan, who went 3-for-3 with a homerun of his own.

EDINBURG 11, PENSACOLA 2 - Game 2

@ Pensacola, Fla. Time: 2:30 ATT: 1,537

W: Ryan Harris (8-0) L: Santos Hernandez (2-2) S: None

HR: PP - Rafael Alvarez (4) Edinburg's Ryan Harris became the first pitcher this season in the league to reach eight wins. The Roadrunners crushed the Pelicans in game two of their doubleheader 11-2. Edinburg was led offensively by centerfielder, Ryan Webb, who went 4-for-5. Eight of Edinburg's nine starting hitters had hits. The Roadrunners collectively went 15-for-36. The Pelicans were led by shortstop, Joe Espada, who went 2-for-3 and Rafael Alvarez, who drove in two runs with his homerun in the fourth.

SHREVEPORT 6, SAN ANGELO 1

W: Keith Black (4-3) L: Mike Henry (5-2) S: None

HR: None Led by pitcher, Keith Black, who went nine innings and only gave up one earned run, the Sports move to 2-0 in their division. Leftfielder, Jorge Alvarez and catcher, Derek Patterson both went 2-for-4, with Patterson driving in two RBIs. Colts' pitcher, Mike Henry, was shelled for eight hits and gave up five earned runs.

COASTAL BEND 3, JACKSON 2, 10 innings

@ Robstown, Texas. Time: 3:10 ATT: 2,065

W: Agustin Marquetti (1-0) L: Reid Casey (2-2) S: None

HR: None Coastal Bend second baseman, Edwin Maldonado, went 4-for-5 in a 10 inning victory for the Aviators. Although neither starting pitcher received a decision, both pitched late into the game, leaving with the game knotted 2-2. The Aviators', Agustin Marquetti, came in and shut down the Senators in the final one and a third innings to get the win. The Senators were led by centerfielder, Nick Sorenson, who went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
