
Pearson Named Player Of The Week

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts are proud to announce today that forward Tanner Pearson has been named the Ontario Hockey League Player of the Week for the week ending November 20th. It is the second time this season Pearson has picked up the honours.
Pearson and the Colts went 3-0 last weekend with a home ice win against Sudbury and victories in Ottawa and Kingston.
The winger picked up one assist in Barrie's 5-3 win over Sudbury on Thursday night. On Friday he registered his first career six-point game with his second hat-trick of the season including the overtime winning goal in a 6-5 win at Ottawa.
On Sunday Pearson was once again in on all of the scoring for the Colts in their 3-1 win at Kingston. The 19 year-old assisted on all three Barrie goals and finished the weekend with three goals and seven assists for ten points.
The Kitchener native leads the league in scoring with 18 goals and 33 assists for 51 points in 22 games played.
The Colts won three games straight for the first time all season and currently sit with a record of 11-8-2-1.
Barrie is in action this week in Sarnia on Thursday, in London on Friday and at home Saturday against the Sudbury Wolves.
