GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Detroit Red Wings on Thursday assigned goaltender Jordan Pearce to the Grand Rapids Griffins. Additionally, the Griffins released goaltender Ramis Sadikov from his amateur tryout.

A native of Anchorage, Alaska, Pearce has played in 17 games with the Griffins this season, posting a 3-7-1 record, a 3.53 goals against average, a 0.874 save percentage and one shutout. The 25-year-old netminder has a 24-25-6 record, a 3.13 GAA, a 0.898 save percentage and two shutouts in 67 career games with the Griffins. He did not see game action after being recalled by Detroit on March 16.

Pearce joins the Griffins for their three-in-three this weekend. The team will host Charlotte for just the second time ever on Friday at 7 p.m., and Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City will visit on Saturday at 7 p.m. The Griffins will play their third game in three days with a Sunday visit to Toronto at 3 p.m. Tickets for the Griffins' back-to-back home games are available at griffinshockey.com.
