
Amerks Back-To-Back Weekend Highlighted by Hall of Fame Night on Friday

(Rochester, NY)... The Rochester Americans will host two games versus the Toronto Marlies on Friday and Saturday at The Blue Cross Arena this weekend at 7:35 p.m.Prior to Friday's game, the team will induct Darcy Wakaluk and Rick Pagnutti into the Amerks Hall of Fame in an on-ice ceremony.
The Hall of Fame induction also marks the final installment of the Seneca Casinos Legends Night series for the 2011-12 season, as Wakaluk and Pagnutti will be available to sign autographs for fans during the first intermission of Friday's game in the Upper Atrium. Any fan that presents a Seneca Casinos Players Card at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office can purchase a ticket to the game for just $10.
Friday's pre-game festivities also include an Amerks Happy Hour from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Atrium Bar, where fans ages 21 and over can enjoy Molson and Coors Light drafts for just $2. In addition, college students with a valid school ID can purchase a ticket at the Box Office for just $10.
On Saturday, the Amerks and Marlies face off for the second consecutive night. During the game, the Amerks will recognize the 2012 Bowman Cup Champions, an all-star team of high school seniors from Rochester who defeated a team from Buffalo in last week's Scotty Bowman Showcase at First Niagara Center in Buffalo. Earlier in the day, the Amerks will host their inaugural Knee Hockey Tournament for kids ages 6-12 at The Blue Cross Arena. As for all Saturday night home games, any fan that wears an Amerks or Sabres jersey can purchase a ticket for just $12 at the Box Office.
