American Hockey League Announces Suspensions

March 29, 2012 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers defenseman Russ Sinkewich has been suspended for one (1) game as a consequence of an illegal check to the head of an opponent in a game vs. Worcester on Mar. 27.

Sinkewich will miss Bridgeport's game Friday (Mar. 30) vs. Springfield.

In addition, the American Hockey League has suspended Binghamton Senators head coach Kurt Kleinendorst for one (1) game as a consequence of a game misconduct penalty received during a game vs. Hershey on Mar. 28.

Kleinendorst will miss Binghamton's game Saturday (Mar. 31) vs. Syracuse.
