Pawtucket Red Sox News Release
The Pawtucket Red Sox managed just a single run on Tuesday in Indianapolis, losing to the West Leading Indians, 3-1. The PawSox didn't score until J.C. Linares singled home Ryan Lavarnway with two outs in the eighth. Pawtucket stranded 9 baserunners. Justin Wilson (8-4) earned the win. The save (9) was notched by Doug Slaten.
Zach Stewart (1-2) allowed 3 runs in 5 innings, taking the loss. Mark Prior and Garrett Mock combined for 3 scoreless innings of relief.
The series continues on Wednesday with a 1:05 matinee. Nelson Figueroa makes his PawSox debut.
