January 12/08- Regina Pats - 4 Vs. Swift Current Broncos -2

Saturday night the Swift Current Broncos made their final regular season visit to the Brandt Centre, as the Pats and the Broncos tangled for the fifth time this season.... It would be the Broncos who would open the scoring as David Stieler finished off a nice passing play to make the score 1-0... The Pats would respond less than 2 minutes later when Logan Pyett (15) notched a powerplay marker to knot things at one. It looked as though the teams were heading to the locker room tied, but Kirt Hill (9) scored a nice goal on a two on one, to make the score 2-1 after one. In the 2nd the Pats would score the only goal as Matt Delahey (2) pounced on a rebound to put the home team up by two... In the 3rd Jordan Eberle (27) and Erik Felde would exchange goals as the Pats would go on to a 4-2 victory. Pats goaltender Jeff Bosch got the win between the pipes, while Broncos netminder Travis Yonkman was tagged with the loss ... The Pats went 2 for 8 on the powerplay, while the Broncos were 1 for 8 ...
