Puck Drop: 7:00 p.m.

Regina Pats (18-25-2-2) Swift Current Broncos (22-20-3-2)
Head-to-Head
The Pats and Broncos come together for their fourth meeting of the 2012-13 campaign and first since Swift Current's 3-2 overtime win back in October. Swift Current owns victories in two of the teams' three contests with every game being decided by one goal and two heading to overtime. Dyson Stevenson has four assists in the season series to sit atop the Pats' points leaderboard versus Swift Current. On the other side of the puck, Graham Black and Adam Lowry both top the Broncos list with three points each. Regina heads into this evening's matchup on a four game losing streak, but showed signs of breaking the slump in a strong contest against Kootenay. The Broncos hold a five game winning streak as they battle for playoff positioning. Tonight's game can be heard on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m. It will also be televised on Access 7 starting shortly before puck drop at 7 p.m.
Lead Up: Pats Drop Tight Game to Kootenay
The Pats did pretty much everything but win in their 2-1 loss to the red hot Kootenay Ice. Jaedon Descheneau scored both Kootenay markers and Mackenzie Skapski made 29 saves including 15 in the third period. Dyson Stevenson opened the scoring in the first period with the Pats' lone marker. Matt Hewitt made 24 saves in the loss.

Four Point Games
The Pats next seven games are against teams they are battling with for playoff spots and positioning (Swift Current(2), Kootenay, Moose Jaw, Brandon(2), Lethbridge). All of those teams are within nine points of the Pats in the standings.
Home Ice Advantage
The Pats have been strong on home ice when facing off with Swift Current. Over the past five seasons, the Blue and White hold a 10-4-1-1 record against the Broncos in Regina.
Who to Watch on Swift Current
There's no player on a better streak than Adam Lowry. The Winnipeg Jets prospect has points in 21 straight games and holds 37 points (21G, 16A).
