The Pats and Raiders go up against each other for the eighth and final time this season tonight. The Pats hold a 3-4-0-0 record against the Raiders this season with Prince Albert taking the previous two meetings by 7-0 and 9-4 scores. Morgan Klimchuk leads the Pats with nine points (2G, 7A) in seven games against Prince Albert. Raiders defenceman Josh Morrissey has been impressive in seven games against Regina, totaling ten points (4G, 6A) in those games. The Pats head into their 35th home game after a 6-3 loss to the Oil Kings on Wednesday, snapping the Pats' three game winning streak. Prince Albert visits Regina after a 4-3 loss to Calgary on Wednesday bringing its current slide to three games. Tonight's game will be broadcast on 620 CKRM starting with the Press Box Sports Bar Pre-Game Show at 6:35 p.m.
Lead Up: Pats St. Croix with Three to Top Pats 6-3
The Pats led 6-3 heading into the final period, but Michael St. Croix scored twice as part of four unanswered Oil Kings goals as Edmonton cruised to a 6-3 victory in the final period. Pats Captain Colton Jobke returned to the lineup and had an assist in his first game back while Lane Scheidl and Kyle Burroughs each had two points for the Pats. Western Pizza Team Posters
Lucky fans in attendance will receive a 2012-13 Western Pizza Pats Team Poster. The Pats and Western Pizza teamed up earlier this season to raise money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation by delivering pizzas. Burroughs Taking Off
With eight points (2G, 6A) in his last three games; Kyle Burroughs matched his 55 game point total from last season. The 17-year old defenceman has 23 points (3G, 20A) in the second half of the season (29 games). While playing against tough competition due to an injury riddled Pats blue-line, Burroughs has a +5 plus/minus rating over those games.
Leading the Charge
Lane Scheidl had a goal and an assist against the Oil Kings to bring his point total to 74 (35G, 39A) to bring Scheidl into a tie for 20th in league scoring and has the Pats' scoring lead by two points.
Who to Watch on Prince Albert
Defenceman Josh Morrissey is having another impressive season as the 17-year old defenceman surpassed his previous career highs in goals and assists. Morrissey has 44 points on the year tying him for eleventh among WHL defencemen.
