Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats kicked off the second half of the season with a 5-2 win in Moose Jaw over the Warriors on Friday night.
In the first, the Pats found the game's first goal just under six minutes in, when Cole Dubinsky fed Zach Wytinck in the right circle and he one-timed a shot off of Drew Englot who was credited with his fourth to make it 1-0. Regina went up 2-0 with a shorthanded goal from Austin Pratt five minutes later, his 12th, and that was the score after one. In the second, Robbie Holmes extended the lead to 3-0 with his team leading 14th and then Ty Kolle scored his 13th, 58 seconds later, and Regina led 4-0 after 40 minutes. In the third, the Warriors got two goals from Chase Hartje to cut the lead to 4-2. However, Riley Krane sealed the victory late with an empty netter, his eighth of the season, and it was a 5-2 final score.
