Pats and Western Pizza to Host 25th Annual 'Have a Heart Night' on Monday, February 13

Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats Hockey Club is thrilled to announce the return of Have a Heart Night after a three-year absence, in partnership with Western Pizza.

This years Have a Heart Night is set for Monday, February 13 in Regina, and will mark the 25th anniversary of the event.

The Pats will be at Western Pizza locations throughout the city from 6-8 p.m. to assist with orders and help deliver pizzas to customers. Proceeds from delivery fees and tips will be donated to the Regina Heart and Stroke Foundation.

"We couldn't be happier to once again team up with our long-time partners at Western Pizza to bring back this crucial community event for its 25th year," said Pats CEO Gord Pritchard. "Believe it or not, none of our current players have had a chance to take part in this great event because of COVID, so it will be a great opportunity for them to participate in this community initiative. And of course, the Heart and Stroke Foundation is a great cause to support."

To date, this initiative has raised $62,500 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

"We are so excited to partner up once again with the Regina Pats on this initiative," said Spiro Bonis, owner of Western Pizza. "Not only are we raising money for the Heart and Stroke foundation, but we're giving the fans an opportunity to meet the players in person! Nothing beats the smile on a kid's face when they get to meet one of the players!"

Along with your pizza, players will also be delivering team posters and signing autographs.

An announcement regarding the funds raised will be made on Friday, March 17, 2023, during a pre-game on ice ceremony before the Regina Pats home game against the Moose Jaw Warriors.
