Pats Acquire Tyson Feist from Spokane Chiefs

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have acquired 17-year-old defenceman Tyson Feist and a 10th round pick in 2019 from the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a fifth-round pick in 2021 and an eighth-round pick in 2019.

Feist (6'3, 177), is in his first full season in the WHL, he has five assists in 25 games with the Chiefs this year. From Dawson Creek, B.C. he also appeared in eight games last season as a 16-year-old.

"We would like to welcome Tyson to Regina," said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and GM John Paddock. "He is a big body defenceman and a right-handed shot which will be a good addition to our group."

John Paddock will be available to the media at 12:15 p.m. outside the Pats dressing room at the Brandt Centre.

The Pats are back in action Friday night in Saskatoon against the Blades at 7 p.m. on 620 CKRM. Next home game is Sunday against the Seattle Thunderbirds at the Brandt Centre at 4 p.m. Tickets are available at reginapats.com, the Brandt Centre Box Office and at any Regina Safeway, where Fun Zone Tickets are $13 plus tax.
