Pats Acquire Draft Pick from Lethbridge for Scott Mahovlich

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club has announced they have acquired a third-round pick in 2019 from the Lethbridge Hurricanes in exchange for 19-year-old forward Scott Mahovlich and an eighth-round pick in 2019.

Mahovlich was acquired by the Pats from the Kamloops Blazers in November of 2017. The product of Abbotsford, B.C. has played in 68 games with Regina, scoring five goals and seven assists.

"We wish Scott all the best in Lethbridge," said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and GM John Paddock. "He has been a credit to our organization on and off the ice."

The Pats are back in action Friday night in Saskatoon against the Blades at 7 p.m. on 620 CKRM. Next home game is Sunday against the Seattle Thunderbirds at the Brandt Centre at 4 p.m. Tickets are available at reginapats.com, the Brandt Centre Box Office and at any Regina Safeway, where Fun Zone Tickets are $13 plus tax.
