Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots and Newark Bears game scheduled for 7:05 pm at Commerce Bank Ballpark on Wednesday night has been postponed due to rain.
The game has been rescheduled as part of a double-header on Thursday evening beginning at 6:05 pm.
The double-header will consist of two seven-inning games.
Fans with tickets for Wednesday night's game can redeem them for any future Somerset Patriots home game during the 2006 season.
The 2006 Somerset Patriots Season presented by Ford will continue at home on Thursday, June 8th for a 6:05 pm double-header against the Newark Bears. The game includes Sparky Lyle Figurines for the first 1,500 fans in attendance courtesy of ImClone Systems Inc. Thursday's game is also NASCAR Night with GMAC driver Brian Vickers scheduled to appear to meet fans.
