The Week That Was

Tuesday, October 23rd - Pats 2 @ Red Deer 3

Charles Inglis scored once in the first and once in the second to lift the Rebels to a 3-2 win at the Centrium. The Pats got goals from Emil Sylvegard and Kade Pilton while Matt Hewitt made 37 saves in the loss. The Pats trailed by one heading into the third period, but it couldn't manufacture a tying goal in the final minutes.

Wednesday, October 24th - Pats 3 @ Kootenay 0

Teagan Sacher picked up his first WHL shutout, making 28 saves in the winning effort. Lane Scheidl and Colten Mayor provided the bulk of the offence with Scheidl scoring twice and Mayor picking up a goal and an assist in the 3-0 victory. Scheidl's powerplay marker in the first period stood up as the game winner.

Friday, October 26th - Pats 1 @ Lethbridge 6

The Hurricanes scored early and often to power their way to a 6-1 victory over the Pats Friday night. Lethbridge scored four goals in the first period, and outshot the Pats 55-29 through sixty minutes of play. Matt Hewitt was excellent in relief of Teagan Sacher, stopping 33 of 35 in the final forty minutes. Colten Mayor scored the Pats single tally on the night.

Saturday, October 27th - Pats 4 @ Medicine Hat 5

The Pats wrapped up their road swing against the Tigers in Medicine Hat. The teams traded goals, but two unanswered goals from Dylan Bredo and Trevor Cox gave the Tigers the lift they needed to pick up the win. The Pats managed to get one goal back, but with only one second remaining on the clock. Morgan Klimchuk scored twice for the Pats in the loss.

The Week Ahead

Tuesday, October 30th - Pats vs Saskatoon

The Pats take on the Blades for the first time since they split a pair of Pre-Season games. The Memorial Cup hosts have had an up and down start to the season and after ten days off head into Regina as the Pats look to get back on the winning track.

Friday, November 2nd - Pats vs Calgary

The Pats' Annual Breast Cancer Awareness night takes on a decidedly pink look as the Pats don pink jerseys and skate on pink ice. The Hitmen have lost three in a row coming into their battle with the Pats as the First Overall Bantam Pick in 2011, Jake Virtanen makes his first appearance at the Brandt Centre.

Saturday, November 3rd - Pats vs Prince Albert

To round out the week, the Pats welcome the Raiders to the Brandt Centre for the first time. The Raiders are off to a surprising start atop the East Divison. Chicago Blackhawks first rounder Mark McNeil leads the way for Prince Albert and he's backed up by top prospect defender Josh Morrissey and rookie hotshot Leon Draisaitl.

Skate on the Pink Ice

Breast Cancer Awareness Night is one of the Pats most important nights of the year; raising money for Breast Cancer Research, honouring survivors and raising general awareness for the cause. This year, fans have the opportunity to skate on the pink ice with a public skate after the game. Pats fans can also support the cause by bidding on the Pats special edition Pink Jerseys Friday night.

Breast Cancer Toques

Another way to support the cause is purchasing a Pats "Pink Toque" for $20 at the Neutral Zone Store, Online or at the Pats Office. Proceeds go to the Canadian Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research in Saskatchewan.
