This past week
Wednesday, February 1st Prince Albert Raiders 3 Regina Pats 2
The Pats carried the play for the first 40 minutes, outshooting the Raiders 39-21, but it was the Raiders that held the 4-2 lead heading into the third. From there, the Prince Albert defence was on lock-down mode and held off the Pats 4-2. Brandon Davidson and Morgan Klimchuk scored for the Pats while Adam Beukeboom came in relief of Matt Hewitt and stopped 17 of 18 Raiders shots.
Friday, February 3rd Regina Pats 4 Swift Current Broncos 0
The Pats ended a 3 game losing streak with a commanding 4-0 win at the Credit Union I-Plex in Swift Current. Adam Beukeboom stopped all 27 Bronco shots for his first career WHL shutout, while Jordan Weal and Brandon Davidson (who also had a fight to complete the "Gordie Howe" hat trick) had a goal and an assist each. With the win, the Pats are 4-1 against the Broncos this season.
Saturday, February 4th Lethbridge Hurricanes 3 Regina Pats 2
Former Pats goaltender, Damien Ketlo was fantastic in his first game back at the Brandt Centre between the pipes for the Lethbridge Hurricanes. He stopped 45 Regina Pats shots helping the 'Canes to the 3-2 victory. Chandler Stephenson was solid for the Pats with a goal and an assist in the loss, while Dominik Volek

Looking Ahead
Wednesday, February 8th - Wheat Kings @ Pats 7:00pm Brandt Centre
Just 5 points separate the Pats and the Wheat Kings for 7th and 8th in the WHL's Eastern Conference playoff race and this is the first of six meetings between these two clubs over the next seven weeks. The Wheat Kings are led by the league's second leading scorer, Mark Stone. Heading into this week, he is tied with the Pats Jordan Weal with 86 points.
Tonight is also another edition of "Wiener Wednesday" with 2 for 1 hot dogs all game long. It's also Taco Time Valentines giveaway night. The first 150 kids through the doors get a set of Pats Valentines to give to their school friends.
Saturday, February 11th - Pats @ Broncos 7:00pm Credit Union I-Plex
This is the final time this season that the Pats and the Broncos will meet this season. The Pats have taken four of the first five games this season with the Broncos and have outscored them by a combined score of 19-7, but they have split their last two games with Swift Current winning at the Brandt Centre 3-2 on January 27th and the Pats taking a road win 4-0 last Friday.

There is still 2 months left in the season, but the Pats have already have given back over 2000 hours of community service back into the city of Regina and the surrounding area. Almost 300 to the Regina Food Bank, 200 at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre and 200 for Food For Learning.

In The Locker Room
- Adam Beukeboom picked up his first WHL shutout this past Friday night. The last time more than one Pat goaltender had a shutout in a season was in 2007-08, when Linden Rowat (3) and Jeff Bosch (1) each picked up shutouts.
- Jordan Weal was named the WHL's Player of the Month for January. He had 26 points in 12 games and is the first Pats player to win the award since October 2010 when Jordan Eberle was the Player of the Month
- Morgan Klimchuk had a 3 game goal streak and a 4 game point streak snapped Saturday night against Lethbridge.
- Lane Scheidl has points in 8 of his last 10 games
Through the Looking Glass
Dane Schioler:
The Pats second pick in the 2011 Western Hockey League Draft, Dan Schioler(2nd round, 36th overall) is currently playing with the Winnipeg Hawks of the Winnipeg AAA Midget Tier 1 division.
He is second in the league in scoring with 55 points in just 30 games. His Hawks team is first in the league and has just two losses in regulation.
