
'Pasión Chivas USA', Red-and-White's official weekly show on W Radio 690 AM, returns with new time

CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, March 12, 2009) - The weekly program âPasión Chivas USA' returns this evening to the official radio station of the Red-and-White, W Radio 690 AM, at its new timeslot of 5-6 p.m. PT. Hosts Hipólito Gamboa and Rigoberto Cervantez, who also serve as play-by-play and color commentator for every Chivas USA match of the 2009 MLS season, return to the popular program in 2009. Special in-studio guest for the first show of 2009 will be forward Eduardo Lillingston, who signed with the Red-and-White earlier this week.
The official weekly radio program of the Red-and-White, âPasión Chivas USA' covers everything on the Major League Soccer club, from match commentary, recent news from the team, interviews, contests to win tickets to Chivas USA matches, as well as phone calls from fans listening to the show.

For the second season in a row, W Radio 690 AM will broadcast live every match, both home and away, for Chivas USA this season, and will also feature a pregame show and post-match reactions every time the Red-and-White step on the field.
W Radio features the most powerful signal in Southern California, and its range extends from Tijuana, Mexico, all the way to the San Joaquin Valley, and from the Pacific Ocean to Death Valley. W Radio is also the official radio station for all match broadcasts of Chivas de Guadalajara.
Eduardo Lillingston is a 12-year veteran of the Mexican First Division, playing for clubs including Toluca, Santos and most recently Tecos UAG. He could make his MLS debut next Saturday, March 21, against the Colorado Rapids, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 work visa.
Chivas USA kicks off its fifth campaign in Major League Soccer when it hosts the Colorado Rapids in an Opening Day match on Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center.
