
Chicago Fire Sell Out Safeway Insurance Skyway Season Tickets

CHICAGO, IL (March 12, 2009) - The Chicago Fire announced today that the club has sold out of the $99 Safeway Insurance Skyway level 2009 Season Ticket Packages. Fans interested in season tickets in this area may join our 2010 Safeway Insurance Skyway waiting list for future seat availability at a cost of $20 per seat. "The success of this sales program speaks directly to the value that Chicago Fire games at TOYOTA PARK provide to our fans," said Fire president Dave Greeley. "In these difficult economic times, we are responding to the needs of our fans and their families and the Fire look forward to offering Chicagoans an opportunity to enjoy exciting and affordable entertainment through all of our ticket packages."
The Fire also announced a new corporate sponsor, Safeway Insurance, which is now the official auto insurance partner of the Chicago Fire and TOYOTA PARK, which includes the Safeway Insurance Skyway, title sponsorship of Hispanic Heritage Day and is the official insurance provider for Cuauhtémoc Blanco.
"We are also excited to have Safeway Insurance on board as a key new sponsor of the Fire and TOYOTA PARK and welcome their support as a longstanding local business leader in the Chicagoland area," said Greeley.

The Fire are also pleased to announce the full slate of games included in the Five Game Plan. The package, which is on sale now, consists of four MLS regular season matches against key Fire opponents, including Opening Day at TOYOTA PARK on April 5 against the New York Red Bulls, and the Fire's first 2009 MLS Cup home playoff match. The Fire Five Game Plans are available starting at just $110.
