Paris Jackson tops 1,000-yard mark and collects Canadian Player of the Week award

(Vancouver) In the wake of the BC Lions 43-28 victory over division rival Edmonton Eskimos last Friday, receiver Paris Jackson has earned Canadian Player of the Week honors for his six-catch, 127-yard performance which included a 25-yard touchdown.

Jackson was the team's leading receiver on the night and also broke through the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his six-year CFL career. This is Jackson's third Canadian of the Week award with the first two selection coming in July.

The BC Lions host the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday, October 25th at 7:00 pm (PT). The first 3,000 fans through the gates will receive a Jason Clermont bobblehead. For more information on the BC Lions Football Club please visit our website at bclions.com.
