
Parent Clubs Battle Tonight on ESPN2

CINCINNATI, Ohio -- The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and the Detroit Red Wings, the NHL parent clubs for the American Hockey League's Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, face-off tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Joe Louis Arena. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
The Anaheim roster features former AHL Ducks Marc Chouinard, Matt Cullen, Jean-Sebastien Giguere, Niklas Havelid, Mike Leclerc, Andy McDonald, Timo Parssinen, Ruslan Salei, Kevin Sawyer, Pavel Trnka and Vitaly Vishnevski. The Detroit lineup features former Cincinnati players Sean Avery, Jiri Fischer, Maxim Kuznetsov, Jesse Wallin and Jason Williams.
The Red Wings, the only team to clinch a playoff berth in the NHL, have won six in a row against Anaheim and lead the all-time series, 23-6-5.
The Ducks have just one win in Detroit (1-12-3-1), a 1-0 overtime carnage on March 30, 1998.
Detroit is 10-2-0-0 in its last 12 games. Anaheim is 10-6-1-0 in its last 17.
