Paparelli's Single Gives Titans Walk-Off Win over Worcester, 2-1

A walk-off single from Joe Paparelli brought home the winning run for the Torrington Titans (4-3) in a 2-1 victory over the Worcester Bravehearts (2-6) in 13 innings at Fuessenich Park on Friday.

Paparelli got on base four times in the game for the Torrington Titans. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the thirteenth inning.

Nick Lamberti reached base four times in the game for the Torrington Titans. He doubled in the seventh inning and singled in the first and thirteenth innings.

Ray Krieger brought the heat against the Worcester Bravehearts during his outing. The Worcester Bravehearts managed just one hit off of Krieger, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out three during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Evan DeVico got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Adam De La Cruz ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed one run.
