A walk-off single from Gerrad Rohan brought home the winning run for the Bristol Blues (5-4) in a 4-3 victory over the Pittsfield Suns (4-4) at Muzzy Fied on Saturday.
Rohan racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Bristol Blues. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.
Austin Chauvin boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Bristol Blues. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.
Troy Terzi handled the Pittsfield Suns' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. Terzi allowed one earned run, seven hits and one walk over seven innings.
Tim Cate improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Bristol Blues. He allowed one run over two innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered two hits.
Austin Dick (0-1) took the loss for the Pittsfield Suns. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
