FCBL Pittsfield Suns

Walk-Off on Thursday, Diamonds on Saturday

July 26, 2019 - Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL)
Pittsfield Suns News Release

On Wednesday, the Suns thundered back from a 10-2 deficit to win a barn-burner, 13-12. Thursday was equally dramatic, with the Suns prevailing in a pitcher's duel with a walk-off, 2-1 win to take over first place. For the second straight night, Mark Coley delivered the game-tying hit. Troy Strack scampered home last night for the winning run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth!

The drama will continue on Saturday, too, no matter what the score is. That's because the Suns and Hannoush Jewelers will be giving away a pair of diamond earrings worth nearly $1,200. It's a 3/4 carat pair of Martini Set diamond earrings, and they are stunning! Just look at them!

It's all part of our first-ever Diamond Dash on Saturday night at Wahconah Park. All you have to do to win them is walk on the field and pick up a foil star. It's that simple! The promotion is open to all ladies in attendance at least 18 years of age. The Diamond Dash is scheduled to take place after the game. If there's a sun delay, we may be able to squeeze it in there, so don't be late! Game time against the Brockton Rox is 6:00 PM, and gates open at 5:15 PM.
