
Panthers Recall Bracken Kearns

SAN ANTONIO (December 1, 2011) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that center Bracken Kearns has been recalled from the San Antonio Rampage (AHL). In addition, the Rampage have recalled right wing Jonathan Hazen from their ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.
Kearns, 30, has recorded 15 points (7-8-15) in 18 games with San Antonio this season and eight points (2-6-8) in his last six games. The Vancouver, British Columbia, native made his NHL debut October 20, 2011 against the Buffalo Sabres and averaged 7:12 of ice time in two games played with Florida. Kearns was signed by Florida as a free agent on July 14.
Hazen, 21, has appeared in eight games with the Rampage this season scoring the game-tying goal in the Rampage's 3-2 shootout victory on opening night, Oct. 8 vs. Chicago. The Val-Belair, Quebec native has recorded two goals and two assists in 10 games with Cincinnati this year.
The Rampage begin a home-and-home series against the Oklahoma City Barons tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at the Cox Convention Center and return home on Saturday to host the Barons at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
