Bradenton Marauders Announce 2012 Coaching Staff

Bradenton, Fla. - The Pittsburgh Pirates today announced their minor league managerial and coaching assignments for the 2012 season. The announcement was made by Larry Broadway, Pirates Director of Minor League Operations.

Carlos Garcia will return to Class-A Bradenton after guiding the Marauders to a playoff berth in 2011 in his first year as the Marauders' Manager. Prior to last season, Garcia served as First Base Coach and Infield Instructor for the Pirates Major League team in 2010. Garcia is currently managing Navegantes del Magallanes in the Venezuelan Winter League.

Garcia will be joined by returning Pitching Coach Mike Steele. New additions for the 2012 season will include Coach Kory DeHaan and Athletic Trainer Dru Scott, who will take over for the Marauders' former Athletic Trainer Keito Homma.
