
Pankewicz, Schneekloth To Play in All-Star Game Tonight

WINDSOR, Colo. - Colorado Eagles Captain Greg Pankewicz and defenseman Aaron Schneekloth will represent the Eagles tonight in the CHL All-Star game in Broomfield. Both players have been selected as starters for the Northern Conference.
It will be the fourth CHL All-Star appearance for Pankewicz (he also made it in '04, '05 and '06) and the second for Schneekloth ('06) -- his first with the Eagles. Pankewicz earned All-Star Game MVP honors in '05, racking up an All-Star Game-record, nine points (5-4-9) and scoring in the shootout to help the Northern team prevail, 14-13.
Pankewicz entered the All-Star break with 44 points (11-33-44) in 28 games. Eighteen of his 44 points have come on the power play (6-12-18), and he has notched five game-winning goals (tied for second in the league). He ranks first on the Eagles in assists, penalty minutes and game-winners and is second on the team in points.
Schneekloth entered the All-Star break tied for second among defemsemen with 35 points (16-19-35); his 16 goals are tied for tops in the league for a d-man. Fourteen of his 35 points have come with the extra man (8-6-14) and his eight power play goals are second in the league among defensemen. He's also tops among CHL blueliners with a shooting percentage of .165. He leads Colorado's defensemen in points, goals, assists and shooting percentage.
The other starters for the Northern Conference are: Forwards Scott Wray (RMR) and Brent Cullaton (RMR), Defenseman Mike Burgoyne (OKC) and Goaltender Andy Franck (YNG)
The starters for the Southern Conference are: Forwards Tyler Redenbach (ARZ), Jeff Bes (LAR) and Dominic Leveille (ODE), Defensemen Serge Dube (LAR) and Sean Sullivan (ARZ) and Goaltender Dustin Traylen (LAR).
Be sure to tune into the CHL Network to hear the voice of the Eagles, Tori Holt, broadcast the game on a special live internet feed. Holt has also been selected by the CHL to broadcast the game along with Arizona's Robby Incmikoski.
