
Two Mudbugs Suiting Up in Tonight's All-Star Game

BROOMFIELD, CO - John DeCaro and Daniel Pegoraro will be in uniform representing the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs in tonight's Central Hockey League All-Star Game hosted by the Rocky Mountain Rage at the Broomfield Events Center .
DeCaro and Pegoraro will be a part of the Northern Conference All-Star team in tonight's contest, which starts at 8:05 pm Central time. DeCaro is playing in his second consecutive all-star game, after playing in last year's contest in Bossier-Shreveport during his rookie season. The University of Alaska-Anchorage product owns a 12-4-2 record with a CHL-high five shutouts on the season. His 1.87 goals-against average is good for second in the league, behind only teammate Ken Carroll, and his .936 saves percentage is third in the CHL. Pegoraro is making his first career All-star appearance in his second professional season out of Cornell University . The Toronto, Ontario product leads the Mudbugs with 24 assists and 31 points. He has also scored seven goals and owns a +15 rating.
The Northern Conference vs. Southern Conference battle will be shown live on the internet through the CHL Network, so don't forget to tune in with Colorado Eagles radio voice Tori Holt and Arizona Sundogs radio voice Robby Incmikoski for the CHL Network broadcast, with pre-game coverage starting at 7:30 Central time.
After the All-star festivities, the Mudbugs will take their franchise record 13 game winning streak to Youngstown for a set of three games in three days. Bossier-Shreveport has beaten Youngstown in four consecutive meetings and leads the SteelHounds by seven points in the standings. The Northeast Division rivals will clash on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Chevrolet Centre, with all three games being broadcast on the radio on 1130 AM KWKH and shown on the CHL Network as well.
