Fort Worth Brahmas News Release
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (January 16)- In a battle among Central Hockey League All-Stars, the South romped the North and Brahmas defenseman Justin Kinnunen in an offensive battle, 11-6.
The Texas Brahmas were represented by Kinnunen, who was only one of three players in the North who ended even in the plus/minus. This feat is not surprising as he leads all Brahmas defenseman in plus/minus with +7 for the season at the midway mark.
The Southern conference was led by Arizona Sundog's Alex Leavitt as he notched a hat trick (3 goals) and two assists, clinching him MVP honors.
Kinnunen will return home for a battle against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees Friday at the NYTEX Sports Centre for a 7:05 PM start. To watch the All-Star defenseman and his Brahma teammates, please contact the Brahmas Box Office at (817) 336-4423 or log on to www.brahmas.com.
