JUPITER, FL- The Palm Beach Cardinals and Clearwater Threshers remained scoreless through five innings and after a 26 minute rain delay, the Cardinals picked up a single run in three consecutive innings to go onto a 3-1 victory at Roger Dean Stadium.

Cardinals' starter Mitchell Boggs threw five scoreless innings in a no-decision effort, allowing just three hits and striking out four. Boggs continues to pitch great baseball at the Dean, boasting a 2.09 ERA.

With a 1-0 lead going into the seventh, catcher Matt Pagnozzi knocked in the eventual game-winner, driving his 12th double of the year into the right-field corner, scoring Randy Roth.

Designated-hitter Matt Dryer drove in the games final run in the eighth, shooting a single into right-center, plating lead-off man Sean Danielson. In three games against the Threshers, Dryer is 4-for-11 with 2 RBIs.

Palm Beach bullpen continues to impress, logging four innings and allowing just one run.

Zach Zuercher (5-2) picks up the win pitching two shut-out innings. Brian Stitt pitched the eighth inning, surrendering the only Clearwater run, as Gregory Golson hit his 4th homerun of the season to left field.

Closer Mike Sillman (S, 29) continues to distance himself in the saves category, picking up his sixth save in the Cardinals last nine games.
