Pair Of Colts Listed In Preliminary Draft Rankings

Barrie, ON- The Barrie Colts announced today that two of their players have been listed in the Ontario Hockey League Preliminary Draft Rankings for Fall of 2008.
Alex Hutchings was listed 22nd among skaters in the OHL. The 5'10" left winger led the Colts in scoring last season with 54 points in 68 games. He is on a point a game pace so far this season with 21 points in 21 games. He has scored three goals and two assist in his last two games.
Oshawa's John Tavares was the number one skater listed from the OHL, followed by Matt Duchene of Brampton and Nazem Kadri of London.
Peter Di Salvo was ranked the fifth best goaltender among OHL draft nominees. Di Salvo has split the starting role this year with Michael Hutchinson, going 6-4-1-0 with two shut-outs on the season through 11 starts.
Di Salvo sits third in the league in both goals against average and save percentage; 2.35 and 0.927 respectively.
Saginaw's Edward Pasquale was ranked as the OHL's top goaltender.
NHL Central Scouting released the list on Tuesday.
