P-Bruins to auction off St. Patrick's Day jerseys

BRUINS TO AUCTION OFF ST. PATRICK'S JERSEYS AUCTION GOES THROUGH THURSDAY, APRIL 4TH

Providence, RI --

The Providence Bruins will auction off their special St. Patrick's Day jerseys, worn on Sunday, March 17th in their 3-2 overtime loss to the Hartford Wolf Pack. All jerseys in the silent auction will be the actual game-worn jerseys donned by the P-Bruins' players. Despite the loss, the Bruins picked up a point in the standings and are now 31-26-8-4 (74 points) on the season.

Left wing Ivan Huml scored his 24th goal of the year, tying Andy Hilbert for the team goal-scoring lead. Huml has 7-6-13 totals in his last 10 games. Center Shawn Maltby tallied the Bruins' other goal, his first in the AHL. Right wing Lee Goren added an assist and now has points (4-9-13) in eight of his last nine games. Left wing Sean Haggerty also had an assist and has 6-4-10 totals in his last nine games.

Goaltender Andrew Raycroft stopped 36 shots in the game.

The auction will be conducted online on www.providencebruins.com beginning at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 17th EST. The auction concludes on Thursday, April 4th at 5:00 p.m. EST.

The Bruins return to action on Wednesday, March 20th at 7:05 p.m., when they face off with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
